欧绿保集团于1968年创立于柏林，是全球十大环境服务及资源再生公司之一。集团拥有超过9000名员工，在德国和其他欧洲国家有超过200个经营场所，年营业额达320亿元人民币。
欧绿保集团的业务覆盖了环境服务及资源再生的整个领域。欧绿保公司为诸多欧洲城市提供生活垃圾处理服务。仅在德国首都柏林，由欧绿保公司所处理的垃圾量就占到了整个柏林市的一半以上。欧绿保公司采用标准的“回收-处理-贸易”流程，对包括废旧金属、工业废弃物、电子废弃物、废旧汽车、塑料、包装物以及生活垃圾在内的资源进行综合循环再生。集团旗下的上市公司还运营着覆盖全德国的再生资源物流网络，并在全球进行贸易。
欧绿保集团和中国国家发改委在2011年就资源再生领域的技术推广和应用达成战略合作协议。2012年，欧绿保集团在中国北京注册分支机构。在城市生活垃圾及各种工业废弃物（废旧汽车，废旧电器电子产品，危险废弃物，一般工业废弃物等）的处理及再生利用等领域，在大中国区范围内积极开展业务。
